June 5 Event to Feature Key Lawmakers, Industry Voices, and Networking
Washington, D.C. (May 20, 2025) – Blockchain Association is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Summit Series, a new event series designed to amplify the impact of its flagship Policy Summit and continue critical conversations around crypto policy throughout the year – exclusively for Blockchain Association members and media. The first event will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2025, at the Riggs in Washington, D.C., where lawmakers, regulators, and industry leaders will gather for an afternoon of engaging dialogue, policy insights, and networking.
Confirmed speakers include Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Rep. French Hill (R-AR), House Agriculture Digital Asset Subcommittee Chair Rep. Dusty Johnson (R-SD), and House Financial Services Committee Digital Asset Subcommittee Chair Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI) who will share their perspectives on the House GOP’s priorities for digital asset legislation.
Commissioner Hester Peirce of the Securities Exchange Commission will sit for a fireside chat to discuss the important ongoing work of the SEC Crypto Task Force.
Additionally, Summer Mersinger, the incoming CEO of Blockchain Association, will deliver the opening keynote address, setting the stage for a forward-thinking discussion on the future of digital asset policy in the U.S.
The event will also feature an exclusive networking happy hour, sponsored by Chainlink Labs, providing ample opportunities for attendees to connect and build relationships within the digital asset space.
