Statement Following the Filing of Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to the Clarity Act

“With the cloture on the motion to proceed filed, the Clarity Act is on a direct path to the Senate floor as soon as Congress returns in September. We're grateful to Leader Thune and the bipartisan group of Senators who have worked to bring the bill to this point, and we are optimistic about what comes next. But the work isn't finished. If you build in this industry, if you hold digital assets, if you believe America should write the rules for this technology rather than watch other countries write them for us, now is the time to speak up and make your voice heard. We look forward to continuing to work with Congress to establish clear rules that protect consumers, strengthen markets, and keep innovation in the United States.”
