Blockchain Association Statement on on ICBA Lawsuit Against the OCC

Blockchain Association Executive Vice President of Legal and Government Relations Ashok Pinto released the following statement following the ICBA lawsuit against the OCC:

“Digital asset companies seeking national charters should have a fair opportunity to meet rigorous regulatory standards and operate under federal supervision. Blocking that path would undermine responsible innovation, limit competition, and deny consumers greater choice. We support Comptroller Gould and the OCC’s efforts to provide a lawful, supervised pathway for digital asset businesses, and all other qualifying businesses, to operate under national trust charters in the United States.”
